The steel diamond plate base is mounted to a sturdy wood frame and includes thru bolted casters. This is BY FAR the STURDIEST base available and you won’t find one like it on any other perch out there. With extra large wheels, two of which are stationary and the two on opposite end swivel for easy steering even over carpet and thresholds. The painted steel base makes cleanup as easy as can be. The included base is extremely solid.
